The Department of research at the Ethiopian Defense Command and Staff College plays a pivotal role in advancing the college’s mission of educating and training military officers for higher tactical and operational levels. With a focus on enhancing tactical leadership capabilities and operational effectiveness, the Department of Research is dedicated to conducting specialized studies, developing innovative training programs, and disseminating knowledge that aligns more closelywith the training and education mandate of the college. 1. Conduct Research within the mandate of the college.
2. Contribute to the Enhancementof the College Curriculum.
3. DisseminateResearch Findings that could enhanceofficers’ capabilities.
4. Facilitate Provide guidance and support Student Research Works.
5. Collaborating with Military Units and Establish partnerships.
6. Foster collaboration with other departments within the college.
7. Capacity Building for Research Skills through the provision of trainings
8. Undertake Field Research and Observational Studies.
9. Offer research-based insights and analyses to support decision-making processes.
